The Resilient Connectivity Products (RCP) Hardware Technologies team is seeking a driven, creative Power Electrical Engineer II to help shape the future of secure, high‑speed communication systems across ground, airborne, and space platforms. In this role, you’ll directly influence mission‑critical hardware powering advanced software-defined radios, high‑bandwidth data links, and resilient communication networks operating in some of the world’s toughest environments.
You’ll join a collaborative team building state‑of‑the‑art power electronics—closed‑loop power supplies, EMI filters, high‑efficiency conversion stages—and guide designs from concept through qualification. This hands‑on role spans power conversion systems, magnetics, EMI mitigation, and PFC solutions, offering opportunities to innovate at every stage of the hardware lifecycle.
As a Power Electrical Engineer II, you will apply a thorough understanding of power supply control schemes and power supply topologies (buck, boost, flyback, forward, resonant, PFC, etc.) to deliver high‑reliability aerospace hardware. You’ll work closely with cross‑functional partners and influence pursuits, design, integration, verification, and factory transition.
Potential Onsite Locations:
• Cedar Rapids, IA
• Fort Wayne, IN
