Role Purpose

The India Delivery Operations Manager leads the daily management system for MyAdvice delivery teams based in Bengaluru. This leader is accountable for whether assigned employees produce the required work, at the required quality, on the required schedule.

Operational excellence is a daily discipline at MyAdvice. This leader reviews performance data during the workday, coaches employees and local leads, addresses shortfalls directly, and escalates risks early. The role requires visible, in-office leadership and the resolve to hold people accountable for output, quality, attendance, and follow-through.

This role does not replace functional leadership. Functional leaders define the work, quality standards, priorities, and client-service tradeoffs for their functions. The India Delivery Operations Manager makes those expectations operational every day for the Bengaluru team.

Key Responsibilities

Run the daily operating rhythm

- Lead a daily operating review that covers staffing, attendance, planned work, completed work, quality, rework, blockers, and client-impacting risks.
- Review performance data during the workday. Identify emerging shortfalls early and agree on a concrete recovery plan or escalation.
- Maintain visible, accurate scorecards for assigned teams and ensure that every measure uses an agreed definition, data source, and quality standard.
- Coordinate daily priorities with U.S.-based functional leaders and align local work to current client and business needs.
- Create, maintain, and enforce practical role-level SOPs and checklists for recurring work; make expectations easy to follow, identify gaps, and update documentation as work changes.

Manage people and performance

- Set clear expectations for attendance, work output, quality, professional conduct, and timely communication.
- Coach employees and local leads using factual performance data. Address missed expectations promptly, document recurring issues, and involve functional leaders or HR when appropriate.
- Communicate expectations, performance feedback, recovery plans, and escalations clearly, directly, and consistently so employees understand both the required standard and the next action.
- Recognize strong performance and support role-based incentives that reward sustained output and quality.
- Recruit, onboard, develop, and retain capable delivery employees in partnership with HR and functional leaders.

Protect quality and client experience

- Monitor quality and rework trends, identify root causes, and make sure corrective actions are completed and verified.
- Escalate client-impacting quality, capacity, or service risks early, with a clear summary of the issue, the immediate containment action, and the decision needed.
- Ensure local process execution follows functional standards and documented procedures. Do not unilaterally change functional quality standards or client priorities.

Build the Bengaluru delivery center

- Create a focused office environment that supports collaboration, reliable attendance, coaching, and high-quality work.
- Partner with the Vice President of Operations on office capacity, local facilities needs, hiring plans, and the timing for additional management layers as the team grows.
- Serve as the local operational point of contact for the Bengaluru office while maintaining a clear separation between workplace administration and delivery accountability.

What Success Looks Like

- The Bengaluru team consistently meets defined output, quality, attendance, and timeliness expectations.
- Shortfalls are identified during the workday, discussed directly, and resolved through documented recovery plans or timely escalation.
- Functional leaders have confidence that India-based delivery work follows agreed standards and that recurring issues receive sustained attention.
- Quality defects, preventable rework, missed commitments, and unexplained attendance issues decline over time.
- The office can scale from its initial team without losing clarity, management discipline, or client focus.

Required Qualifications

- Willingness to work deeply with AI tools.
- Ten or more years of operations, delivery, production, business-process, or service-management experience in India, including direct responsibility for team performance.
- Demonstrated experience managing employees through clear productivity and quality standards, coaching, and performance improvement.
- Comfort with operational reporting, spreadsheets or dashboards, and using data to make day-to-day management decisions.
- Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with U.S.-based functional leaders and conduct clear, direct performance conversations.
- Demonstrated ability to turn operational standards into clear, practical SOPs, checklists, and written guidance that employees can use consistently.
- Sound judgment, discretion, and consistency in direct people management and client-impacting escalations.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience managing teams that support digital marketing operations, web production, onboarding, customer operations, or technology-enabled services.
- Experience launching, expanding, or leading an in-office delivery center or hybrid workforce.
- Experience improving a process through automation, quality assurance, capacity planning, or workflow redesign.
