About this role
Description
Work hard. Have fun. Make history. At Amazon it is expected no more and no less from you. The Retail Vendor Specialist is a core member of our Wireless commercial team, responsible for building and growing partnerships with brand partners while delivering a best-in-class customer experience. Working across five key areas — financial performance, vendor negotiations, customer experience, strategic planning, and process improvement — you'll be the bridge between Amazon and the brands our customers love. You'll analyze sales metrics to drive pricing and selection decisions, create and manage commercial agreements, launch promotional campaigns, and monitor the competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities. This role requires strong analytical skills, commercial curiosity, and the drive to take ownership from day one. You'll help shape the Wireless category in one of the most dynamic retail markets in Latin America — and build the foundation for a long-term business career at Amazon.
Key job responsibilities
Manage the commercial relationship with assigned brand partners, including contract creation, cost audits, and promotional program execution
Analyze sales performance metrics — pricing, selection, availability — to identify gaps and drive improvements
Monitor customer reviews, traffic data, and competitor activity to surface pain points and recommend solutions
Identify selection opportunities and work with vendors to expand the product catalog on Amazon
Educate brand partners on tools, programs, and best practices to improve their performance on the platform
Support the design and launch of promotional campaigns; review results and adjust as needed
Contribute to the team's strategic planning by identifying growth opportunities and sharing upward recommendations
Build and maintain process documentation to support knowledge transfer and operational consistency
Continuously develop expertise in the Wireless category and share learnings with the broader team
A day in the life
Your day starts by reviewing your brand's sales performance — pricing, availability, and catalog gaps — and deciding where to act. You'll have calls with brand partners to align on promotional plans, negotiate terms, or resolve operational issues. You'll pull competitive data to flag gaps and bring recommendations to your manager. Internally, you'll coordinate with supply chain, marketing, and finance teams to keep your business moving. No two days are identical, but every day you're using data to make decisions, building vendor relationships, and directly contributing to the customer experience in the Wireless category.
