As an HVAC Mechanic I , you’ll perform scheduled preventive maintenance and on-demand repairs for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and associated systems in hospital or clinic facilities. You’ll help maintain a safe environment and reliable equipment operation while following departmental, hospital, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• One of the following licenses is required:
o AC/Refrigeration Contractor (ACR) from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation
o HVAC State A with C endorsement (HVACAWC) from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation
o HVAC State B with E endorsement (HVACBWE) from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation
o Stationary Engineer, 1st Grade (STATENG1) from the City of Houston
o Stationary Engineer, 2nd Grade (STATENG2) from the City of Houston
o Stationary Engineer, 3rd Grade (STATENG3) from the City of Houston
• 3 years of experience as an HVAC service-related technician required
• Hospital experience preferred
• High-rise HVAC systems experience preferred
• Refrigeration certification preferred
