About this role

WhatsApp is a fast, simple, and reliable way to talk to anyone in the world. Billions of people in over 180 countries use WhatsApp to stay in touch with friends and family, at any time and anywhere. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping to prevent real-world harm on WhatsApp and helping keep bad actors and related harm off our platform, such as account compromise or spam. WhatsApp combats these problems in the context of a private end-to-end encrypted system, which requires flexibility and creative approaches to detection and mitigation. You will be working closely with our teams of engineers, data scientists, trust and safety teams, and designers to build products, while sharing in our commitment to quality and attention to detail.

About the Team
In India, WhatsApp is where a great deal of everyday life gets done - people message businesses, coordinate their families, and increasingly send money as easily as they send a message.

We are building a new team to take WhatsApp further in that direction. The newly established WhatsApp Services team is focused on making WhatsApp more useful for more of what people already use it for, and on building what comes next.
