The Waterford at Fitchburg , a Sonida Senior Living community, is a premier retirement community in Fitchburg, Wisconsin, providing quality care and services to residents in both Independent Living and Assisted Living. We believe great care starts with a great team, and we're committed to providing our team members with the tools, training, and support they need to succeed.
What You'll Do
As a Caregiver, you'll play an important role in helping residents enjoy their day, maintain their independence, and feel comfortable and supported in their home.
Responsibilities include:
- ##### Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care, while encouraging independence and self-care.
- ##### Provide assistance with medications and treatments when appropriately trained and authorized for assigned duties.
- ##### Escort residents throughout the community and outside the building as needed.
- ##### Assist with meal setup, service, and cleanup.
- ##### Support resident activities and help create opportunities for engagement and social connection.
- ##### Observe and communicate changes in residents' needs or conditions to the appropriate team members.
- ##### Work collaboratively with fellow team members to provide consistent, quality care.
- ##### Treat every resident with dignity, compassion, and respect.
What We're Looking For
- ##### A compassionate, patient, and dependable individual who enjoys working with older adults.
- ##### A commitment to helping residents maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life.
- ##### Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- ##### A high school diploma or GED preferred.
- ##### Previous experience in nursing, senior living, home health, or a related field preferred.
Medication passer certification is not required for this AM caregiver position.
