About this role
Tesla's Houston solar manufacturing plant is currently in the design phase, and getting the engineering right now will determine how reliably and efficiently it runs for years to come. You will lead facilities engineering for the entire plant, covering utilities, gas and chemical systems, and process infrastructure, reporting into the site's senior facilities leadership. In this role, you will go deep into facility design reviews, working through drawings, specifications, and system details with the Design team before they're finalized, then carry that technical ownership through sustaining operations and follow-on projects. Your work ensures plant systems are engineered to be safe, reliable, and ready to scale as production grows.
