Assisted Stretch Practitioner

Elements Massage | Newburyport, MA

Pay: $20–$23/hour base + tips (estimated $48–$51 per service hour)

Elements Massage Newburyport is looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable Assisted Stretch Practitioner to join our growing wellness team!

As we expand our wellness services, we're looking for someone who shares our passion for helping clients improve flexibility, mobility, and overall well-being through routine self-care.

Position Responsibilities

- Deliver personalized 30- and 60-minute assisted stretching sessions following Elements Massage protocols.

- Guide clients through safe, active and passive stretching techniques to support flexibility, mobility, and range of motion.

- Educate clients on the benefits of consistent stretching, recommended visit frequency, and at-home movement practices.

- Create a welcoming, professional experience while prioritizing client comfort and safety.

- Build lasting client relationships that encourage routine wellness.

- Maintain a clean, organized service space and collaborate with team members to deliver an exceptional client experience.

Qualifications

- Certification or education in Personal Training (NASM, ACE, ISSA), Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Athletic Training, Yoga, Pilates, or a related field.

- Background in fitness, movement coaching, athletics, or wellness.

- Strong communication skills and a passion for helping others.

- Comfortable providing hands-on assisted stretching services.

- Positive, dependable, team-oriented attitude.

- Willingness to complete Elements Massage's required Assisted Stretch Training Program.

This is a non-therapeutic, fitness- and wellness-based position. Assisted Stretch Practitioners do not provide massage therapy, physical therapy, medical treatment, injury rehabilitation, or pain management.
