About this role
Apple is a place where extraordinary people gather to do their best work. Passion works here, our community is made up of every kind of individual: artists and designers, engineers and scientists, problem solvers and doers. Together we build things and experiences people once couldn’t have imagined - and now can’t imagine living without. So if you’re excited by the idea of making a real impact, a career with Apple might be your dream job. Just be ready to dream big!
We invite you to join Apple's growing Engineering Program Management (EPM) group. Our team is looking for a hard-working, detail-oriented, and motivated EPM to drive Apple’s product development process from prototype to mass production. We value folks who take ownership and drive for product excellence while demonstrating great teamwork skills. As an iPhone System EPM, you will work with a cross-functional team of skilled electrical and mechanical engineers. Using your solid technical foundation to recognize, assess and communicate issues and risks across key hardware sub-systems that are an integral part of iPhone system product development. We are looking for a high-energy in-region EPM to lead system product development and support build events at the Contract Manufacturer.
- In this role, you will lead multidisciplinary engineering initiatives, align cross-functional teams, and facilitate seamless execution across the entire hardware lifecycle:
- Lead cross-functional engineering teams through prototype build milestones and New Product Introduction (NPI) phases, establishing daily build plans and operational direction.
- Develop, maintain, and track complex engineering hardware schedules, critical path milestones, and project budgets.
- Identify, prioritize and mitigate technical, operational, and supply risks across key electrical and mechanical sub-systems.
- Summarize critical issue updates into clear status overviews for project teams and leadership.
- Establish structure and clear priorities in dynamic, evolving engineering environments while navigating ambiguity to keep development on schedule.
- Act as the point of contact with Contract Manufacturers (CMs) and Original Equipment/Design - Manufacturers (OEMs/ODMs) to coordinate engineering line activities, component availability, and build execution.
- Domestic and international travel (up to 35%) to support hardware build events, vendor integrations, and on-site engineering activities.
