About this role

Ascendion is a fast-growth, AI-native software engineering company redefining how software, platforms, and intelligent agents are built and delivered at scale. We are hiring a Growth Marketing Leader for India to drive above-market growth through disciplined field marketing, account-based programs, and tight pursuit support that directly enables our sales and markets teams. This role is for a builder hungry to make a mark and capable of operating at speed inside a global services business that is scaling fast. This role has two distinct responsibilities. ·       Growth marketing for Ascendion across India and APAC growth markets. This is field marketing, pipeline generation, pursuit support, and brand activation, with your feet on the ground. 80% of your time goes here (India and APAC growth markets; e.g., Singapore). ·       Global portfolio marketing for our Global Capability Center offering. This means building the category narrative and go-to-market motion for an offering that's sold and delivered worldwide, not just out of India. 20% of your time will be here. That balance will shift as the business scales, creating meaningful opportunity for expanded scope.
##

What You'll Own and Drive

## Field Marketing and Pipeline Generation (Primary Accountability)
Essential Responsibilities: ·      Own the field marketing engine for India: ABM programs, in-person and virtual events, executive engagement, and pursuit-aligned marketing that directly supports active deals. ·      Partner daily with the Markets (Sales) team — not as a service function, but as a force multiplier. You are in the room, on the pursuit, at the client. ·      Build and run account-based programs targeting named accounts and key verticals with precision. Volume without targeting is noise. ·      Orchestrate integrated GTM motions: campaigns, sales enablement materials, roundtables, and executive-level engagement that shorten cycles and strengthen positions. ·      Bring a sales-adjacent mindset to everything. You understand how deals are won. You build marketing that helps win them. Anticipated impact: ·      Growth in influenced pipeline from India and APAC Growth Market regions via events, executive connects, campaigns, and account-based marketing. ·      Increase in net-new logo additions from India and APAC Growth Market regions influenced by marketing. ·      Growth in pipeline sourced specifically through marketing-led events.

## Pursuit Support
Essential Responsibilities: ·      Embed directly into active pursuits alongside sales leadership. Translate Ascendion's capabilities into compelling, buyer-relevant narratives under real time pressure. ·      Support RFP responses, pursuit decks, and executive briefing materials where marketing has a tangible role in the outcome. ·      Ensure every pursuit has the right story, the right evidence, and the right differentiation — not boilerplate. Anticipated impact: ·      Increase in the number and TCV of active pursuits directly supported by marketing (proposals, solutioning, asset development, presentations). ·      Higher conversion of marketing-supported pursuits into bookings, measured in both count and TCV.
## Brand Activation in Market (India)
Essential Responsibilities: ·      Activate and localize the Ascendion brand across India: analysts, media, digital, social, and executive visibility. ·      Work in close coordination with the global brand and content team — your role is to adapt and amplify global positioning for India audiences, not to operate independently of it. ·      Build market presence that earns credibility with buyers and feeds the pipeline. Anticipated impact: ·      Brand visibility and credibility in India and key APAC markets reflected in media coverage, analyst recognition, and share of voice versus competitors. ·      Growth in digital and social engagement in-market (e.g., site traffic, LinkedIn engagement, executive visibility, campaigns) leading to pipeline. ·      Meaningful contribution to Ascendion's APAC growth target through market presence that builds buyer credibility.

### Portfolio Marketing: Global GCC-AI Offering (~20% of role)
Ascendion is already delivering global capability center (GCC) services globally. We're deploying AI platforms to improve how GCC work is done. For clients, this means faster innovation, process transparency, productivity, and capital unlock. We anticipate this will be a powerful growth engine for the firm. GCC pipeline is a shared metric that will be co-owned with a dedicated sales leader Essential Responsibilities: ·      Build and execute the go-to-market and portfolio marketing strategy for our GCC services, positioning our AI-enabled delivery model against traditional GCC and outsourcing competitors. ·      Develop messaging and positioning that translates our AI-driven delivery advantage into buyer-relevant value for CXO and procurement audiences across target geographies. ·      Partner with sales and delivery leadership to build enablement assets (case studies, ROI models, competitive battlecards, video assets, thought leadership, etc.) to support this fast-growing offering. ·      Design and run demand generation campaigns (digital, events, ABM) targeting enterprise buyers evaluating GCC strategies globally. Anticipated impact: ·      Marketing-influenced GCC pipeline globally. ·      Stronger message resonance in sales win/loss feedback. ·      Sales team adoption of enablement materials. ·      Greater analyst and brand recognition in target segments.

### Who This Role Is For
This role is designed for someone with experience and on the rise. You likely have: ·      10+ years of experience in B2B technology marketing, with increasing scope and impact over time. ·       A genuine services background. You have worked inside a global technology services firm — consulting, IT services, managed services, or professional services — and you understand how those businesses sell, how clients buy, and what "pursuit" actually means. ·       Hands-on field marketing experience: running events, executing ABM programs, building enablement materials, and supporting sales in live deals. Not managing agencies at arm's length. ·       A sales-adjacent orientation. You may have started in sales, or worked so closely with sales teams that you think like one. You are not intimidated by revenue targets. You are energized by them. ·       Experience working across global teams and adapting global strategy for regional markets without losing clarity or consistency. ·      Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where impact matters more than process. You are a field and growth marketer with the credibility to walk into a client conversation or a pursuit review and add immediate value.
###

### What We're Specifically Looking For
·      Proven track record driving pipeline and pursuit outcomes in India markets (with numbers to back it). ·      Demonstrated experience in a global technology services environment. ·      Evidence of hands-on execution: events run, ABM programs built, sales enablement delivered, pursuits supported. Supervision and delegation are fantastic, but we are looking for people who roll up their sleeves and personally get things done. ·      High engagement as a working style. You actively seek contact with the Markets team. You are in the meetings, on the calls, at the events. You complement and enable sales. You are highly proactive. ·      A history of shifting how a company is perceived in a market through consistent, disciplined storytelling. ·      Ability to work fluidly within a global marketing structure: aligning to global brand standards and content direction while executing with regional relevance. ·      Comfortable engaging external analysts, clients, and partners as well as internal stakeholders including senior global and regional leadership. ·      Fluency in AI-powered marketing tools and workflows. High motivation to do more by leveraging all that AI can offer (without losing the human-touch impact). And also… We need evidence of personal storytelling capability. We will review recent work product (where permitted) from 2-3 prior employers or engagements.
