About this role

The gap between what a university intends for its students and what those students actually experience is where Cadmus operates. Our Learning Support Managers close that gap, working with academics to design better assessment. The Learning Support Coordinator is the person who helps them do it at scale.

Cadmus is used by students in 50+ countries, and more universities are running pilots with us every semester. Each pilot means dozens of academics to onboard, support and bring along. You'll work alongside a Learning Support Manager to make those pilots run well: keeping many moving parts on track, working with academics every day, and learning the craft of assessment design as you go.

This is a Melbourne-based, hybrid role for someone early in their career with a real interest in learning design or how universities work. We care more about energy, drive and a knack for bringing people with you than years of experience.

THE ROLE

You'll be part of our Learning team, working day to day alongside a Learning Support Manager across a set of university pilots. No two weeks look the same. One day you're running an onboarding session for a faculty, the next you're chasing down why a cohort hasn't started, or sitting with an academic to get their first assessment live.

What you'll do:

- Keep pilots on track. Coordinate the schedules, onboarding, check-ins and milestones for the academics in each pilot. Know where every academic is up to, and spot early who needs a nudge or a hand.
- Work with academics every day. Be a friendly, reliable point of contact for the academics you support: answering questions, following up, and helping them get the most out of Cadmus. The Learning Support Manager leads the relationship; you make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Deliver workshops and training. Co-facilitate sessions with your Learning Support Manager at first, then lead standard sessions such as onboarding and platform walkthroughs yourself.
- Grow into assessment design. Learn how we help academics redesign assessment for a world with AI. Over time, advise academics on simpler design questions, with your Learning Support Manager as a sounding board.
- Bring the field back to Cadmus. Share what you're hearing from academics with the Learning and Product teams so we keep building the right things.

You'll have real flexibility to design your day. The work is dynamic, varied and full of people. Some days are back-to-back sessions with academics, and the role suits someone who gets energy from that and still gets things done.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

In your first year:

- The pilots you support run on time, with academics onboarded and actively using Cadmus in their courses.
- You're leading standard workshops and onboarding sessions on your own, and academics rate them well.
- Academics see you as a go-to person who responds quickly and follows through.
- You're starting to advise on assessment design, and your Learning Support Manager trusts your judgement on simpler cases.
- Insights you've gathered from the field have shaped something the Learning or Product team has done.

Requirements

WHO YOU ARE

You don't need years of learning design experience. You do need a genuine interest in how people learn, and a good grasp of how universities and academics work.

- You win people over. Academics are busy and often wary of new tools. You build rapport quickly, listen to their concerns, and bring them on side.
- People give you energy. You thrive on a day full of conversations, workshops and back-to-back meetings, and finish it wanting more.
- You solve problems on the spot. When an academic brings you a learning or assessment problem, you think on your feet and suggest a practical way forward.
- You get a lot done. You have the energy and drive to deliver at pace across many academics and pilots, and you follow through on the detail.
- You're drawn to learning design. You have a real interest in learning design, assessment or higher education, and want to go deeper.

Nice to have:

- Hands-on curiosity about AI tools and what they mean for assessment and academic integrity.
- Experience supporting technology adoption in a university or other complex organisation.
- Comfort picking up new software quickly and helping others use it.
