How you’ll make an impact in this role

- Perform routine and complex ultrasound exams, producing high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
- Set up, adjust, and operate equipment; ensure proper function, perform quality control, and follow safety standards.
- Identify anatomy, pathology, artifacts, and equipment limitations during imaging procedures.
- Submit accurate images and documentation to PACS while maintaining regulatory compliance and a clean, organized department.
- Ability to work weekday and Weekend shifts, Varying Hours

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

- Required Credential(s): BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following: Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education

- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.

Additional Preferences:

- At least one year of hospital experience as Mammography Sonography Tech.
