As an Advanced Respiratory Care Practitioner, you’ll provide developmental and age-appropriate respiratory care for patients ranging from neonates to adults. You’ll assess patients, deliver treatments, provide ventilatory support, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes.
Skills & Qualifications
• Technical diploma from a respiratory certification or registry program Required
• Associate’s degree in respiratory care preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in respiratory care preferred
• Respiratory Care Practitioner license from the State of Texas required
• Registered Respiratory Therapist certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care required
• Basic Life Support certification from an approved American Heart Association course provider preferred
• 1 year of clinical experience in both critical and non-critical care areas preferred
• 6 months experience in critical care preferred
