Power Transmission and Distribution Expert

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and supervise transmission and distribution infrastructure works at the project site.
- Review electrical drawings, technical specifications, and contractor submissions.
- Monitor the installation of electrical equipment, substations, transformers, cables, and associated infrastructure, as applicable.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, relevant standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, utility agencies, consultants, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
- Monitor construction progress, quality, and adherence to project schedules.
- Inspect site works and ensure corrective actions are taken for any deviations.
- Review method statements, inspection requests, and quality documentation submitted by contractors.
- Prepare site inspection reports and provide regular progress updates to the project management team.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and applicable regulations.

Qualification and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in power transmission and distribution projects.
- Experience in site supervision, construction monitoring, quality control, and contractor coordination.
- Good knowledge of electrical infrastructure, substations, transmission and distribution networks, and relevant technical standards.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
