Goal of position

- Support and consult the management partners of the Humanoid in financial matters to achieve/exceed business units’ goals for the actual and future organization needs both quantitatively and qualitatively in a high-level efficiency / effectiveness and customer satisfaction standards.

- Responsibility for the Controlling function Business Partner Humanoid

- Coordination of budget planning and forecast process and reporting for Humanoid

- Monitoring and reporting of financial development and target achievement (actual vs. budget), including initiation and follow up of countermeasures

- Safeguarding of proper Corporate Governance including ICS and Risk Management.

Responsibilities

Leadership Level: Strategic Role: Direction setting, problem solving, consultation and support work that fulfills need of business leaders

- Provide strategic Controlling support at business level includes but not limited on analysis of broad data sources for strategic business-based decisions

- Understand and contribute strategic planning and decision-making at the top executive level so that the organization’s human capital strategy is aligned with business strategies / goals and objectives, and support business leaders to reinforce/realize business strategy via human capital strategy

- Take shared accountability with line management for business goals and achieving effective employee performance, engagement and retention

- Take shared responsibility of organization capability, workforce planning, budgeting and change management with line management

- Take shared responsibility of integrated talent management strategy and process, make sure career planning, succession planning, talent development plan is in place to meet middle term business needs

- Create a great place to work which improves people’s loyalty to our business. Deliver the people processes and coach managers to improve capability to deliver support for customers, staff and operations.

- Participates with management to establish strategic plans and objectives.

- Understand the business needs and bridge these business needs to partnering Controlling functions and apply Controlling expertise to develop solutions. Be responsible for coaching and developing the expertise and skill set of the team members to ensure their success.

- Facilitate, drive and role model of Schaeffler culture and values with global mindset and strong communication skills

Functional Level: Management & Operational Role: Advice, consultation and support to employees, managers and business unit leadership:

- Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of staff to ensure that the organization’s human resource strategy is implemented effectively, consistently, and according to established guidelines and budgets.

- Take responsibility for yearly budget/quarterly forecast of headcount and cost, cost center planning of the responsible scope, make sure the budgeting, forecasting and tracking is in place to support the top management decision.

- Provide accurate information and data to line managers for supporting on annual budgeting, operation plans and quarterly forecasting by way of standard reporting package preparation or ad-hoc reporting

- Assist and play a bridge role between competence centers and shared services.

- Understand the key business objectives and initiatives to identify the areas that Controlling can help to achieve their goals and to ensure most effective solutions are delivered in support of business.

- Review and analyze the data and information to identify trends and recommend solutions that utilize, motivate and retain the workforce

- Data preparation and analysis on various levels, e.g. country, business unit, product line, etc.

- Coordination of budget and forecast process for Humanoid especially for Sales, Overheads, PDP, Investments and Working capital

- Initiation of action plans for profit achievement

- Know how transfer related to the application of controlling and finance tools

- Ensure timely and reliable preparation of PPAs

- Assistance for financial analysis and strategic finance planning

- Constantly monitor and adjust all processes with MOVE concepts and make sure its implementation in an effective and efficient way

- Continue on planning, implementation, reassessment, measurements and optimization of policy, procedure and process

- Other projects and tasks assigned by the superior

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Finance including Accounting, Controlling, Treasury and Taxes

- Excellent communication skill and ability to work with senior leaders with strong consulting, coaching and facilitation skills in a commercial environment (spoken and written in English language)

- Excellent customer service mentality and interpersonal skills with global mindset

- Ability to prioritize on strategic and operational tasks, and organize workload to meet deadlines

- Skills in software including SAP R/3 CO, MS Office, SAP CO and other Controlling systems (SOCO, FOCO, LOCO etc.)

- Being able to lead and coach the team members

- Excellent organization and project management skill

- Strategic thinking and acting

- Bachelor Degree or above with minimum of 10 years of experiences in Finance and Controlling functions or business oriented field at managerial role in multinational company.
