About this role
As a member of Citco’s in-house Group Legal function, you will support the Senior Legal Team in providing legal support across Citco’s international business. Working closely with Senior Legal Team members based in the UK and Spain, together with colleagues across Citco’s international offices, you will develop a broad understanding of corporate governance, KYC requirements and legal operations within an international financial services group.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in in-house legal practice, with increasing exposure to wider legal work including commercial contracts, employment matters, regulatory projects and corporate transactions as your experience develops.
- Degree in Law;
- Approximately 1-2 years relevant legal experience, either in-house or within private practice.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage routine legal and corporate governance work whilst recognising when escalation is required.
- Flexibility, proactiviness and ability to work effectively with multiple projects by setting priorities;
- Team player with solid analytical and problem – solving skills and excellent communication skills;
- Proven computer skills (Microsoft Office packages);
- Fluent English language (written and spoken).
