Role Overview:

The UAT Tester is responsible for executing Business Acceptance Testing activities supporting the BMP Brazil Motor program. The role focuses on validating business-critical customer journeys, executing end-to-end test scenarios, supporting defect validation, and assuring business readiness prior to acceptance and go-live decisions.

The UAT Tester plays a critical role in ensuring that Motor Insurance business processes are thoroughly validated before implementation. Through structured testing, defect validation and collaboration with business stakeholders, the role contributes directly to solution quality, business confidence and successful go-live readiness.

What You Do:

- Execute UAT test scenarios and test cases in accordance with the agreed testing approach
- Validate Motor Insurance business requirements through functional, end-to-end and regression testing
- Document test execution results and maintain clear evidence of testing outcomes
- Identify, document and report defects with sufficient detail for investigation and resolution
- Retest resolved defects and verify successful closure
- Support execution of priority business scenarios and customer journeys
- Collaborate with SMEs, business users and project teams to clarify requirements and expected outcomes
- Participate in defect triage sessions and provide testing feedback
- Support backlog reduction and acceleration of UAT activities
- Escalate testing risks, issues and blockers in a timely manner
- Contribute to test reporting and progress tracking activities

What You Bring:

- Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) or Quality Assurance activities
- Experience executing functional and end-to-end testing scenarios
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and defect management practices
- Ability to analyze business requirements and validate expected business outcomes
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience documenting test results and managing defects
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders and SMEs
- Fluent Portuguese and English language skills, both written and spoken
- Experience within the insurance industry, preferably Motor Insurance
- Knowledge of policy administration, quotations, endorsements, renewals and related insurance processes
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps or similar test and defect management tools
- Experience supporting large transformation or implementation programs
- ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent testing qualification
