Responsibilities:
- Perform deep exploratory testing of long, multi-role flows: pricing, eligibility, and documents
- Build and own Playwright + TypeScript E2E and API test suites running in CI (GitHub Actions)
- Keep the test suite reliable by fixing flaky tests, maintaining selectors and test data, and keeping regression fast
- Own the release process: run the QA board, test plans, and regression, and give the go/no-go before every deploy
- Investigate production issues using Sentry, Datadog, and PostHog, reproduce them, and create clear, actionable tickets for developers
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of QA experience, with recent hands-on work in both manual and automated testing
- Hands-on test automation experience with Playwright in TypeScript or JavaScript
- Experience with Git and CI (GitHub Actions or similar)
- API testing experience (Postman, pytest, or similar) and solid SQL skills for verifying data in the database
- Strong eye for business-logic edge cases: states, roles, calculations, and partially completed flows
- Understanding of how a financial company works: money flows, compliance, and the impact of errors
- Ability to write clear test plans, test cases, and bug reports that developers can act on without follow-up
- Daily use of AI tools in QA work (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar) to write tests, generate data, and find gaps
- Proven experience working remotely, with a writing-first communication style
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Based in Europe, with regular availability to overlap with US afternoon hours
