Digital Product Designer

Digital Product Designer

We are hiring a digital product designer, mid to senior level , to join our team in Helsinki, working on client projects across web and mobile.

Full-time / Part-time · Helsinki

Kallan&Co is a design studio in Helsinki and Christchurch. We work on brand and digital products for international clients and a few local ones, from websites to mobile apps. We are a small team that cares deeply about craft.

We are looking for a designer who creates exceptional digital experiences that combine beautiful design with outstanding usability.

What you will do

- Design websites, web apps and mobile apps from first concept to final pixel

- Own the visual quality: layout, typography, colour, motion and the small details that separate good from great

- Build and maintain design systems

- Be part of brand design projects, translating the brand identity into the product

- Use AI as a natural part of your process to explore more directions, move faster and reach better results, but never outsource the craft to it

- Present your work to clients and explain the thinking behind it

- Work directly with our other designers in Finland & New Zealand across time zones

Who you are

- 5+ years designing digital products

- A visual designer who can make outstanding digital products (visual craft first, not just wireframes and UX work)

- A portfolio that shows strong visual craft, range and real product design work (required)

- Expert in Figma, comfortable with design systems and prototyping

- A basic understanding of accessibility requirements

- AI native: AI is already part of your daily workflow, and you have the taste to know when the output is good and when it is not

- Strong English (Finnish is a plus)

- Bonus skills: motion design, brand design, development

What we offer

- A great place to work in one of the globally recognised design studios: our employee satisfaction score is 8.9/10

- Projects for ambitious international clients, with real design ownership

- A collaborative senior team with a strong track record and low hierarchy

- Competitive benefits and equal pay, plus the freedom to shape how you work

- Modern office space in Punavuori, Helsinki
