What you can expect as a Working Student in Generative AI & Data Analytics (m/f/d)

- Contribute to our Text Analytics and Generative AI projects – from data preparation and analysis through model and prompt evaluation to the development of new features.
- Make AI applications more reliable and safe: detect and measure hallucinations, check answers against source information, define boundaries for tool usage and test applications in controlled environments.
- Together with the team , develop and evaluate prototypes for internal AI assistants and agent workflows using large language models (LLMs) , APIs, tool calling and orchestration .
- Follow developments in Generative AI, evaluate promising open-source tools and techniques, and turn selected ideas into experiments or prototypes for our projects.

What you bring as a Working Student in Generative AI & Data Analytics (m/f/d)

- Currently enrolled in a Master’s programme in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics or a related field.
- Solid Python skills; familiarity with Git, SQL and agent harnesses is a plus.
- A good understanding of Data Science or Machine Learning fundamentals and first practical experience with AI projects; experience with Generative AI, Natural Language Processing, LLM APIs or agent-based applications is an advantage.
- Good communication skills and the ability to explain your work in English; German is a plus.
- Openness to creative and innovative solutions as well as enjoyment in working with forward-looking technologies such as artificial intelligence or our internal Allianz GPT.
