Job Description
Part Time Evening Trash Collector – Valet Trash Porter | Aiken, SC 29803
Got a pickup truck and a few free evening hours? Turn them into steady extra cash. Community Concierge Services is hiring part time Trash Collectors (Porters) to run doorstep valet trash routes at an apartment community in Aiken, SC. This evening job pays $30 per night, with both weekday and weekend routes available.
What makes this side hustle different:
- Short shifts you can fit around your day – weekday routes average about 1 hour 15 minutes
- A schedule you can plan around – weekday route: Sundays beginning at 6PM and Monday through Thursday beginning at 7PM; weekend route: Fridays beginning at 7PM and Saturdays beginning at 6PM, until your route is complete
- Paid training – no prior experience needed to start
- Paid holidays and a clear path to advancement for reliable porters
- Work solo – no register, no customers, no supervisor over your shoulder
A night on the route:
Each evening, you'll arrive at your assigned apartment community and collect bagged trash and recycling that residents set outside their doors. Expect plenty of stairs and steps - this is an active, on-your-feet role. You'll load the bags into the bed of your truck, drive them to the property's compactor or dumpsters, and head home. Simple, repeatable, and done before most people finish their evening TV show.
Requirements to apply:
- Open-bed pickup truck for hauling collected trash on the property
- Smartphone with an active data plan for check-ins and route updates
- Physical ability to carry up to 50 lbs unassisted and handle stairs nightly
- Dependable evening availability on a set weekly schedule: weekday route Sunday from 6PM and Monday–Thursday from 7PM, or weekend route Friday from 7PM and Saturday from 6PM, until completion
