By connecting enterprise priorities with operational realities, BSO drives consistency, clarity, and coordinated progress across PDD and the broader development organization.

The Opportunity:

The Senior Insights & Analytics Specialist within the Resourcing & Metrics team plays a critical role in translating PDD’s resourcing, workforce, financial, and operational data into actionable insights for senior leadership. Serving as the primary orchestrator of insights for PDD’s Resourcing Governance, this role brings together information from across functions, identifies the most important trends and implications, and develops clear leadership narratives that support forward-looking resource decisions.

- You lead the end-to-end consolidation, analysis, and development of content for PDD’s Resourcing Governance, a recurring senior leadership forum bringing together the SVP, PDD Leadership Team, and functional resourcing leaders
- You partner with the Head of Resourcing & Metrics to shape the agenda and storyline for Resourcing Governance, identifying the most important questions, insights, trade-offs, and decisions for leadership consideration
- You integrate resourcing, workforce, financial, sourcing, portfolio, and operational information from across PDD into a coherent view of organizational capacity, demand, and emerging needs
- You move beyond reporting what the data shows to explain why it matters , identifying underlying drivers, implications, risks, opportunities, and potential areas for course correction
- You develop leadership-ready analyses and presentations that clearly communicate key findings, trends, scenarios, and recommendations to senior audiences
- You continuously monitor key resourcing and metrics data between governance cycles, proactively identifying material changes, anomalies, risks, or opportunities and escalating issues when leadership attention or action may be required
- You develop forward-looking analyses and scenarios that help anticipate future workforce, capacity, sourcing, and resource needs
- You work closely with R&M Operations & Delivery to ensure analyses are based on accurate, validated, and trusted source information, while providing feedback on emerging analytical and data needs
- You partner with Data & Analytics Infrastructure colleagues to identify opportunities to leverage dashboards, automation, AI, and advanced analytics to improve insight generation and decision support
- You support ongoing Resourcing & Metrics operational priorities as needed, contributing flexibly across workforce planning, metrics, sourcing, vendor, financial, and planning activities
- You help establish and evolve a competitive intelligence capability for Resourcing & Metrics, monitoring relevant external clinical developments across the pharmaceutical industry and other leading organizations
- You continuously improve the analytical questions, metrics, and approaches used by the team, ensuring Resourcing & Metrics evolves from primarily reporting information toward providing proactive strategic insight

Who you are:

- You hold a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Data & Analytics, Human Resources, Life Sciences, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred
- You bring a minimum of 5 years of experience in analytics, strategy, business operations, workforce planning, consulting, or a related field
- You have a proven ability to synthesize complex information from multiple sources and translate it into concise, actionable insights for senior leadership
- You demonstrate strong analytical judgment and curiosity, with the ability to move beyond describing data to identify underlying drivers
- You think proactively and can anticipate emerging trends, risks, and decision points rather than waiting for issues to become visible through established reporting
- You have excellent storytelling and executive communication skills
- You demonstrate independent thinking and sound judgment, including the willingness to challenge assumptions and surface issues that may require leadership attention
- You are comfortable working with enterprise analytics and visualization platforms
- You demonstrate respect for cultural differences and work effectively across a global and highly matrixed organization
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and are able to explain complex analytical concepts in clear, accessible language

Preferred:

- Experience in a leading management consulting firm preferred, but not required
- Experience developing executive-level presentations, insights, recommendations, or decision-support materials for senior leadership
- Experience supporting senior governance forums, leadership teams, business reviews, workforce reviews, or similar recurring executive decision-making processes
- Experience in strategic workforce planning, capacity planning, resource allocation, organizational analytics, or financial planning
- Experience conducting scenario analysis, forecasting, predictive analytics, or other forward-looking analytical work
