Junior Industrial Network Engineer

Job Description:

DXC Technology is looking for a Junior Industrial Network Engineer to join our team and be trained on industrial networking and OT (Operational Technology) environments.

Starting from a solid technical background and a strong interest in networking, you will be progressively involved in deployment, monitoring, incident management, and troubleshooting activities, with the goal of developing specific expertise in Siemens Industrial Networks / SCALANCE technologies.

Responsibilities

• Progressive involvement in deployment activities for industrial network infrastructure

• Support in monitoring of industrial network environments

• Participation in incident management and troubleshooting activities on OT networks

• Collaboration with senior engineers to build expertise in Siemens Industrial Networks / SCALANCE solutions

• Learning company best practices in industrial networking and OT environments

We Require

• Technical diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT, Telecommunications, Electronics, or Automation

• Strong foundations in TCP/IP, Ethernet, and switching

• Interest in industrial networking and OT environments

• Availability to work in the Maranello area

• Good communication skills and willingness to learn

• Experience with Generative AI tools is a plus

Location: Maranello (MO) area

The position offers a gross annual base salary starting from €30.000.

Compensation is determined in line with the applicable collective labor agreement (CBA: Contratto Collettivo Nazionale di Lavoro per l'industria metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti) and based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including responsibility, experience and skills.
