About this role
Who we are:
EHE Health is the leading national provider of preventive healthcare, partnering with mid- and large-sized employers to help their employees and dependents stay healthy. Named by Fortune Magazine and Great Place to Work® as one of the Best Workplaces in healthcare, EHE Health is headquartered in New York City and has over 200 health clinics and practices across the U.S., including our own company-owned clinics, staffed by a network of curated primary care physicians, clinicians and coaches.
For more than 100 years, EHE has led preventive care. Now we are evolving into a health and performance platform that delivers measurable outcomes for employers, employees and individuals. This role will be instrumental in this evolution.
EHE Health was recently acquired by Consello Capital, the private equity arm of Consello. This partnership brings Consello’s expertise in scaling high-growth businesses and its extensive network of industry leaders and gives EHE Health the backing to accelerate this next chapter.
What we’re looking for:
EHE is seeking a commercially minded Director, Product Management to turn our strategy into products we can sell and deliver at scale. Products our clients and members clearly understand and value. This is not a digital product role. You will own what we sell, how it is positioned and priced, and you will champion its delivery as promised.
You will take products from definition to market. You will work with our medical leadership on what goes into each product, and with Finance on cost and price. You will collaborate with Sales and Client Success on how products are sold. You will work with Clinical Operations and our Network team to make sure products are delivered to standard and to the intended level of experience, both in our own clinics and across our provider network. You will own the end-to-end journey for our employer clients, their employees and individual members. You will also help shape how our portal and app contribute to those journeys, working with the digital and technology teams who design and build them.
This role is for someone who has done this before and gets things done. You are as comfortable with a pricing model and a margin analysis as you are with clinical workflows or member feedback.
In this role, you will:
Own the product portfolio
- Own EHE’s product architecture: the core offering, its tiers and add-ons, and the experience levels at which each is delivered
- Turn strategy into clearly defined products, with documented scope, delivery standards and a clear definition of done
- Partner with our medical leadership to define the clinical protocols behind each product
- Build and maintain a product roadmap that sequences new products, enhancements and the migration of existing clients into the new product architecture
- Lead product launches from definition to go-live, coordinating cross-functional workstreams and owners and holding the plan together
- Simplify the portfolio over time, consolidating or retiring products that no longer earn their place
Own positioning and pricing
- Define a clear value proposition for each product and audience: employers (HR, benefits and executive sponsors), brokers and consultants, and individual consumers
- Partner with Marketing on product naming, messaging and sales enablement so the story is consistent internally and externally
- Build and manage pricing for each product, tier and add-on with Finance, including list pricing, discount guardrails, and outcomes-based or shared-savings structures
- Know the unit economics of every product: cost to deliver by channel (owned clinics versus network), gross margin, and how pricing decisions affect both
- Track the competitive landscape, including lab-based testing, imaging, concierge medicine, institutional executive physicals and digital health, and use it to sharpen positioning and price
Own the end-to-end client and member journey
- Own the journey from purchase through onboarding, scheduling, the visit, results, the physician plan, navigation, coaching, re-testing and renewal, for both employer-sponsored and direct-to-consumer members
- Map the journey for each product and experience level, find where it breaks, and fix it with the teams who own each step
- Define the service standards for each experience level, such as results turnaround, clinician model and responsiveness, and make sure they are measured
- Use NPS, client feedback, utilization and engagement data to identify gaps and drive improvement
- Collaborate with Business Analytics to define how we prove value: the outcome and ROI measures we report to clients and members
Make sure it gets delivered
- Partner closely with Clinical Operations so our company-owned clinics can deliver each product to standard, including workflow, staffing and training impacts
- Partner with our Network team to define what providers need to deliver at each experience level, and support the onboarding and training of network partners
- Work with our Navigation and Coaching teams on the design of their programs within each product
- Track delivery against the product promise and raise issues early when it is at risk
Shape the digital experience
- Represent the product and the member in decisions about our portal and app, so they reflect what we sell and how members experience it
- Provide product requirements and priorities to the digital and technology teams who own UI/UX design and build
- Help define how wearable and third-party data are used in the product where they add real value for the member
What the role requires:
- 8+ years of experience in product management, product strategy or commercial strategy, including at least 3 years owning products end to end with pricing or P&L accountability
- Experience managing service-based and tech-enabled service products, ideally in healthcare, health benefits or employer-sponsored services, where delivery depends on people and physical locations, not just software
- Direct experience setting and managing pricing, including tiered pricing and value- or outcomes-based models
- Strong commercial and financial skills: comfortable building a pricing model, a margin analysis and a business case
- A track record of launching new products or repositioning existing ones in B2B markets; B2B2C or direct-to-consumer experience a strong plus
- Experience working with operations teams to design and change how a service is delivered; experience with multi-site or provider network models a plus
- Ability to lead through influence across Sales, Client Success, Marketing, Operations, Network, Medical, Finance and Technology
- Working knowledge of digital product practices (requirements, user journeys, prioritization) to be an effective partner to UI/UX and engineering teams
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication, and confidence presenting to senior executives and clients
- A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, changing environment
- A genuine interest in prevention, health and human performance
What we offer:
- Competitive salary
- Medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance
- Employer-matched 401(k) plan
- Professional development stipend
- Employee access to our wellness clinics and services
- Monthly fitness benefit
The salary range for this role is $140,000 - $180,000 and is determined by a number of factors including the candidate's experience, qualifications and skills.
