About this role
This position helps plan facilities that provide Church members with places to worship, teach, learn, pray together, make and renew covenants, and receive sacred ordinances. Works with the Area Meetinghouse Facilities Manager to support effective planning for physical facility needs in accordance with established policies and procedures. Supports the director for temporal affairs and area presidency to address area-specific needs by developing and recommending master plans and long-term strategies for Church facilities. Coordinates and forecasts budgets and schedules for future site acquisitions and the design and construction of new meetinghouses and additions. Provides guidance and counsel to mission presidents stake presidents, and Area Seventy, regarding current physical facilities policies and decisions.
- B.S. degree in business, finance, strategy, or a related field, with 10 years of experience in planning, management, finance, or a related discipline
- MBA or equivalent preferred
- Exposure to multiple business functions and the ability to perform detailed technical analyses
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective negotiation and presentation abilities
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, presentation applications
- Travel within the area as needed
