About this role
TEAMS Next is seeking a Technical Intelligence Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), working with agency developmental and test program personnel and with the Intelligence Community (IC). The engineer will coordinate across the agency and IC to analyze and obtain ballistic missile engineering data for threat development, testing, and modeling and simulations.
The Intelligence Division provides the conduit between the IC and the MDA for all intelligence-based technical information. The Intelligence Division also coordinates all MDA requirements with the responsible entities across the IC, such as the NASIC, MSIC, ONI, and NGIC. The Intelligence Division provides DE with technical support for MDS threat development, testing, and modeling and simulations requirements. The Intelligence Division also provides intelligence data engineering expertise and extensive engineering and scientific support on systems, elements, interfaces, components, devices and/or processes for complex developmental and operational MDA programs. These tasks typically require engineering data in response to problems applicable to foreign threat systems and integration in the MDA Threat Characterization Process.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide liaison to the MDA IC, Missile Defense Data Center, and external agencies to produce and obtain technical data, briefings, reports, and assessments.
Translate MDA testing requirements into IC Production Requests (PRs) and define requirements related to various intended uses ensuring that the IC provided threat system information supports the development of threat models for use in MDA tests supporting a wide variety of end users.
Interface with multiple MDA organizations, Ballistic Missile Defense System Operational Test Agency (OTA) Team, and Intelligence Production Centers (IPCs) including NASIC, MSIC, ONI and NGIC creating MDA PRs, which get forwarded to the IC defining what is needed to perform MDA testing activities.
Support Joint Threat Modeling Program (JTMP) initiatives developing improved efficient consistent processes and technical solutions required to obtain IPC validated threat models for use in MDA events and exercises.
Support JTMP meeting planning, execution, and management including agenda development, after action reports, action items, IPC specific JTMP Line of Effort (LOE) status tracking, and distributing documentation and data to various sites and participants.
Execute SharePoint Content Management on NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS networks. Control user permissions, notifications, and site management including creating and maintaining application pages, default preferences, and SharePoint user functionality. Keeping
information on the sites organized and up-to-date, tasking and tracking actions, uploading documents and notifying users of uploads.
Support Technical Interchange Meetings with IC members, the MDS Operational Test Agency Team, and MDA personnel. Facilitate, participate, and report on meetings, conferences, symposia, and MDA and inter-agency working groups.
