Express Technician / Lube Technician
Are you looking to start or grow your career in the automotive industry? Rohrman Automotive Group is looking for dependable, motivated Express Technicians / Lube Technicians to join our service department. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with vehicles, takes pride in their work, and wants to learn from experienced technicians. Automotive experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person!
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance services, including oil and filter changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Inspect vehicle components, including tires, brakes, batteries, belts, and hoses.
- Complete multi-point vehicle inspections and report any recommended services or concerns.
- Assist with basic maintenance and preventative repairs as needed.
- Follow manufacturer guidelines and dealership procedures to ensure quality work.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work alongside experienced technicians and service advisors to keep vehicles moving efficiently through the service department.
- Attend training and continue developing automotive knowledge and technical skills.
Requirements
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
- Previous automotive, oil change, or maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and an interest in working on vehicles.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Reliable attendance and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift as required for the position.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Commitment to following safety procedures and delivering quality work.
