About this role

As a Senior Advisor, Delivery Excellence and Innovation, you help transform and continuously improve ServiceNow delivery capabilities, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and internal governance. Working within a hybrid in-house/external delivery model, you contribute to enhancing the software development life cycle (SDLC) by implementing effective, measurable practices across the entire delivery chain, from requirements definition to production deployment. You act as a consultant for the management committee to help advance development practices and drive the adoption of modern delivery approaches, including traditional development, low-code and no-code development, automated testing, and capabilities enabled by artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. Using a data-driven approach focused on business value, you ensure that investments made in the platform generate tangible benefits for clients by promoting speed, quality, reliability, and efficiency throughout the development cycle. More specifically, you will be required to:

- Define and evolve the delivery cycle strategy to optimize execution speed, delivery quality, predictability of commitments, and the value generated for client sectors
- Establish and evolve development practices, working methods, tools and operating models based on business needs, internal governance, compliance requirements and the desired cost-benefit ratio
- Help transform the software development life cycle (SDLC) by strengthening source code management, traceability, change governance, environment management, and version control practices.
- Optimize continuous delivery capabilities by promoting automation, continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), as well as efficient delivery coordination
- Define and evolve testing and quality assurance strategies by focusing on test automation, the standardization of validation practices, and improving the reliability of releases
- Promote the use of the most appropriate coding level, including traditional, low-code, and no-code approaches, to accelerate solution delivery while continuing to meet all quality, security, and governance standards
- Leverage data, automation and artificial intelligence to improve delivery cycle performance, team productivity and operational efficiency
- Establish governance indicators and mechanisms to measure delivery cycle performance, solution quality, value creation and return on investment
- Act as a consultant to the management committee and partners to support the evolution of development practices and the managed-service model
