- Assist with office hours and create how-to content for common CAD/PLM tasks
- Develop CAD methods, methodologies, engineering/CAD templates, and workflows that continuously improve efficiency in Engineering and drive greater standardization in CAD modeling and simulation
- Act as the primary link between the Vehicle Engineering organization (reporting issues or improvement ideas) and the development specialists in Design Technology organization
- Support and act as expert for Design Technology internal improvement, deprecation or deployment projects
- Manage communication with the CAD vendor to resolve issues that cannot be addressed internally

- At least 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer in the automotive or aerospace industry, ideally across multiple design teams
- Extensive CAD modeling experience in CATIA/3DEXPERIENCE
- Advanced CAD simulation experience in SIMULIA to teach engineers to validate their current design ideas early in the development phase
- Hands-on CAD modeling experience across diverse part types, including injection-molded parts, castings, stampings, and sheet metal
- Proven experience delivering CAD training to engineers
- Experience in creating and using simulations to validate current CAD designs and identify deficiencies early
- Experience in other non-modeling specific apps and concepts in the 3DEXPERIENCE platform (e.g., Change and Configuration Management) would be ideal for this role
- Experience with other CAD systems esp. SolidWorks is helpful but not required
