Specialist, Product Management, Data Provider Solutions (Open Finance)
###

Overview

The Data Access team is responsible for the connectivity that fuels this system — building and growing the partnerships, platforms, and capabilities that power Mastercard Open Finance, working across financial institutions, fintechs, digital banking providers, technology partners, and industry organizations.

Within Data Access, the Data Provider Solutions (DPS) team represents the voice of the data provider. We help financial institutions strengthen connectivity, improve data quality, gain greater visibility and control, and unlock new sources of value from their participation in the Open Finance ecosystem. Our team sits at the intersection of connectivity, data, product innovation, and commercial strategy, helping shape the future of how providers engage with Open Finance.

As a Specialist in Data Provider Solutions, you will help explore and develop the next generation of provider-facing products and capabilities. You will work across a variety of strategic initiatives, helping the team understand data provider needs, identify emerging opportunities across the Open Finance ecosystem, and translate ideas into product concepts and requirements. This is an opportunity for an intellectually curious and innovation-minded professional to develop broad product experience while helping shape new connectivity models, intelligence products, and other emerging areas of Open Finance.

Role

• Support multiple Data Provider Solutions initiatives – such as business intelligence products, new API connectivity models, and agentic integration models – helping to move new ideas from early exploration through product definition and development.
• Research the market and broader Open Finance ecosystem to identify evolving partner/customer needs, competitive trends, and opportunities for new products and capabilities.
• Analyze data and customer insights to uncover opportunities and help shape product strategy and recommendations.
• Support new product development, translating partner/customer needs and market opportunities into product concepts, requirements, and solutions.
• Independently drive product development initiatives, including technically complex products, from concept through execution.
• Collaborate cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, Sales, and other teams to build alignment and drive initiatives forward.
• Engage with financial institutions and design partners to understand needs, validate concepts, and inform product development and commercialization.

All About You

• Product-oriented and intellectually curious, with an ability to understand customer problems, navigate ambiguity, and think creatively about potential solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and develop meaningful insights.
• Technical curiosity and systems thinking, with an interest in understanding how data, APIs, platforms, and interconnected technologies work together.
• Commercial mindset with an ability to recognize how new products and capabilities can create value for customers and the business.
• Resourceful self-starter who proactively seeks out input, hunts down missing information, and keeps projects moving without waiting for step-by-step instructions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including comfort engaging with and presenting to cross-functional teams, clients, and senior stakeholders.
• Interest in financial services, fintech, AI agents, data, or Open Finance; prior product management or industry experience is preferred.
