About this role

Description

We are looking for a strategic, high-judgment Senior Finance Manager to lead the finance team that supports Partner Growth & Strategy (PG&S) within the AWS Partner and Specialist Organization. PG&S is responsible for (1) designing, launching, and scaling partner funding initiatives to drive AWS’s growth and (2) managing the relationships of some of the largest and most strategically important partners globally.
This role sits at the intersection of program strategy and financial rigor. You will serve as the single-threaded finance leader for a large portfolio of partner incentives, which includes owning financial modeling, funding governance, portfolio analytics, and executive reporting. You will be the trusted financial advisor to the Head of PG&S while simultaneously representing PG&S upward to ASP Finance leadership.

The ideal candidate combines deep financial expertise with a builder’s mindset: you are equally comfortable presenting a portfolio review to a VP as you are designing a new funding approval process from scratch. This is a high-visibility, high-autonomy role with direct impact on how AWS invests in its partner network.

Key job responsibilities
- Build and maintain financial models for partner growth initiatives, including ROI analysis, incrementally evaluation, and scenario planning
- Design and deliver recurring portfolio reviews for senior leadership (VP/CFO), synthesizing program-level data into strategic insights and resource allocation recommendations
- Codify initiative design patterns into a Best Practices Playbook (funding mechanisms, approval governance, partner incentive structures) for reuse across new programs
- Prepare monthly business review content and monthly program updates, narrative write-ups and data-driven recommendations across entire org
- Evaluate and provide financial input on new proposals from PG&S leadership and their directs, applying appropriate rigor while maintaining partnership
- Manage a team of finance professionals, setting clear goals to deliver high value impact

About the team
The PG&S Finance team operates with a dual mandate: (1) serve as the direct financial partner to PG&S leadership, including evaluating initiatives, governing funding, and driving ROI accountability; and (2) act as the upward conduit to ASP Finance leadership, translating initiative-level activity into the portfolio view that informs enterprise-level resource allocation decisions
