Job Description:
The Credit Officer will support the Credit Manager and is responsible for the financial analysis and underwriting for Evolve Bank & Trust.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Commercial Loan Analysis and Underwriting.
- Assist Lenders in financial analysis, identification of the primary risk drivers, structuring of the loan, overall assessment of risk and ability to repay.
- Participate in the loan approval process with appropriate authorization.
- Assist Loan Operations in solving loan related structure questions.
- Assist in the process of vetting new loan products or niche markets.
- Special Projects / Requests.
- Provide analytical assistance on special projects.
- Support and mentor Credit Analysts.
- Work with lenders on training programs and concept reviews for specific loan requests.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of five years experience in commercial credit analysis, preferably at a financial institution or commercial finance organization.
- Bachelors degree, preferably in business, economics, finance, or banking with a strong background in accounting and finance.
