Lot Attendant/Porter-Sales

Tom Wood Subaru is looking for a dependable, energetic, and customer-focused Lot Attendant/Porter to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working with vehicles, helping customers, and being part of a team.

We are looking for a dependable, energetic, and team-oriented Sales Porter to support our dealerships Sales Department. This position plays an important role in keeping the lot organized, vehicles properly staged, and the dealership looking its best for customers.

The ideal candidate enjoys working around vehicles, stays active throughout the day, and takes pride in creating a clean, professional environment.

Responsibilities

- Maintain an organized and presentable new and pre-owned vehicle lot

- Move, park, and stage vehicles as directed by the Sales Department

- Prepare vehicles for customer appointments, test drives, and delivery

- Ensure vehicles are properly positioned and display-ready

- Keep vehicles clean and presentable, including basic exterior and interior touch-ups as needed

- Check vehicles for cleanliness, visible damage, and overall appearance

- Assist with locating vehicles for sales staff and customers

- Move newly arrived inventory to designated areas

- Help maintain cleanliness around the dealership lot and vehicle display areas

- Install or remove dealership materials such as license plate frames and window displays as directed

- Assist the sales team with vehicle-related tasks throughout the day

- Follow dealership safety procedures when operating and parking vehicles

- Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers and team members

- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record

- Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles

- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently

- Strong attention to detail and organization

- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed

- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and remain active throughout the shift

- Previous dealership, porter, lot attendant, or automotive experience is helpful but not required
