About this opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect / Technical Lead to provide architecture and technical leadership across our enterprise application landscape. In this role, you will hold primary architecture responsibility for non-core and business-owned applications, while collaborating closely with Solution Architects for core platforms and application owners across business areas. This is a hands-on role based in the US where you will move comfortably between business conversations and detailed technical discussions, translate requirements into secure, scalable, and practical solution designs, and bring the right people together to deliver solutions that work across application and organizational boundaries.

What you will do

- Design and oversee solutions across enterprise applications, integrations, data, identity, security, and supporting technologies.
- Lead solution design discussions, translating business and technical requirements into clear architecture and implementation direction.
- Partner with Solution Architects and application owners to ensure cross-boundary solutions align with platform strategies, standards, and roadmaps.
- Serve as the technical partner to business stakeholders for business-owned applications, evaluating needs, options, dependencies, and risks.
- Architect integrations using APIs, integration platforms, middleware, and event-driven patterns.
- Facilitate technical decisions across application teams, business stakeholders, Security, Data, vendors, and other functions.
- Apply and promote enterprise architecture principles, reusable solution patterns, and governance standards throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Provide technical leadership through implementation, including design reviews and resolution of complex cross-application issues.

The skills you will bring

- 5+ years of experience in enterprise application design, implementation, or technical leadership, with meaningful Solution Architecture experience.
- Strong architecture fundamentals across SaaS/cloud platforms, integrations, APIs, data, identity, security, and application lifecycle management.
- Demonstrated experience designing solutions spanning multiple applications and technical domains, including integration patterns and data flows.
- Strong integration architecture knowledge: APIs, middleware, synchronous/asynchronous patterns, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience in diverse enterprise environments including SaaS, cloud services, custom solutions, and third-party applications.
- Ability to lead multi-team technical discussions, facilitate decisions, identify trade-offs, and drive issues to resolution.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills — able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to collaborate and influence without direct authority across business, engineering, security, and vendor teams.
- Familiarity with tools such as LeanIX, ServiceNow, Workato, AWS, Azure, Salesforce, Dynamics 365, Snowflake, or TOGAF is a plus.
- AI is becoming core to how we build and deliver at Ericsson. We're seeking talent who are ready to learn, adapt, and develop the skills needed to thrive in an AI-enabled future.
