About the team
The Trading Analyst will be part of the front office commercial trading team and directly assist the Distillates, Biofuels, and High Sulfur trade desks. The position will be responsible for supporting the full deal lifecycle, including accurate and timely deal capture and entry in the system of record and trader sheets; validation of commercial terms; coordination of amendments, cancellations and other lifecycle events; investigation and resolution of data, position and valuation breaks; and follow-through with traders and middle- and back-office teams to ensure deals remain accurate through settlement. - Ensure deal entry metrics remain in line with KPI expectations, and record explanations as to any deal entry errors.
- Maintain up-to-date procedures and capture these in the desk manual.
- Act as point of contact for any issues or questions that arise from middle or back office related to deals on the bench.

- Investigate position and valuation breaks; identify root causes; and coordinate timely correction or critical issue with traders and relevant middle- and back-office teams.
