About this role
Kindred Place at Annville, a service rich and vibrant independent living community, is seeking a Home Health Nurse (RN) to support two vibrant, service-rich independent living communities. The position is primarily based at our Annville location with occasional assignment to the Harrisburg location. The position offers the rewards of home health nursing without the demands of traveling by car from on patient's home to another.
This is a 52.5-75.0 hour per two-week pay-period position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, typically six-hour days or ten days per pay period. Hours may fluctuate depending on client needs.
The successful RN will have:
- Current, unencumbered PA RN license;
- Keen assessment skills;
- Working comfort with computer documentation;
- Confidence and enjoyment for working autonomously;
- The ability to self-direct;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
- Resourcefulness in determining how to maintain a client in the home environment;
- A commitment to maintaining a client in their won home;
- The capability to develop a professional Plan of Care as well as a Plan of Care for the Home Health Aide; and,
- Capability to supervise subordinates.
- Home Health experience is a plus, but is not required for this position.
