Duties and Responsibilities

- Perform a range of general construction related tasks as assigned; this will involve physical exertion, that includes lifting, carrying, climbing ladders and moving materials.

- Help equipment operators, carpenters, subtrades, and other skilled labour as needed.

- Prepare construction sites by cleaning obstacles, hazards, and debris.

- Loading and unloading construction materials to work areas.

- Support material deliveries and confirm materials are stored securely and protected from damage.

- Responsible for completing and completing required project documentation, timecards, and photography in document control system.

- Follow site logistics plans, safety procedures, and supervisor instructions.

- Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, orientations, and required training.

- Erect and dismantle temporary structures, fencing, signage and site facilities.

- Promoting and demonstrating a strong culture of health and safety.

Qualifications

- Completion of High School Diploma

- Be open and willing to take direction.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships

- Adaptable and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, within tight deadlines while maintaining safety and high-quality standards
