Job Description

At EisnerAmper, we look for individuals who welcome new ideas, encourage innovation, and are eager to make an impact. Whether you’re starting out in your career or taking your next step as a seasoned professional, the EisnerAmper experience is one-of-a-kind. You can design a career you’ll love from top to bottom – we give you the tools you need to succeed and the autonomy to reach your goals.

The Senior Growth Strategist is a client-facing role within EisnerAmper’s Outsourced Growth & Marketing practice, responsible for helping organizations identify and execute strategies that drive measurable growth.

This role sits at the intersection of growth strategy, client leadership, and business development. The Senior Growth Strategist will work with referrals and opportunities generated across the firm, assess client needs, develop strategic recommendations and scopes of work, participate in new business pitches, and serve as a senior strategic advisor to clients following engagement.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial marketer who enjoys solving business problems, building client relationships, and identifying opportunities to expand the impact of our work. This individual should be comfortable moving between strategy and execution oversight and should bring the confidence and presence to advise senior client stakeholders.

The role is supported by project management and execution resources responsible for coordinating workflows, timelines, and deliverables. However, the Senior Growth Strategist ultimately owns the quality of the client experience and serves as the final strategic layer ensuring our work delivers against client objectives.

What it Means to Work for EisnerAmper:

- You will get to be part of one of the largest and fastest growing accounting and advisory firms in the industry

- You will have the flexibility to manage your days in support of our commitment to work/life balance

- You will join a culture that has received multiple top “Places to Work” awards
- We believe that great work is accomplished when cultures, ideas and experiences come together to create new solutions
- We understand that embracing our differences is what unites us as a team and strengthens our foundation
- Showing up authentically is how we, both as professionals and a Firm, find inspiration to do our best work

Key Responsibilities:

Growth Strategy & Client Leadership

- Serve as a strategic advisor and primary senior relationship lead for assigned Growth & Marketing clients.
- Assess client business objectives, marketing capabilities, challenges, and growth opportunities.
- Develop integrated growth and marketing strategies aligned with broader business goals.
- Translate business challenges into clear marketing priorities, recommendations, and actionable plans.
- Lead strategic client meetings, presentations, planning sessions, and performance discussions.
- Provide senior-level oversight of client deliverables to ensure work is strategically sound, accurate, and aligned with the agreed-upon objectives.
- Identify changing client needs and proactively recommend adjustments to strategy or services.
- Build trusted relationships with executives, business owners, marketing leaders, and other key stakeholders.

Business Development & Solution Development

- Partner with professionals across EisnerAmper to pursue internal referrals and opportunities for Growth & Marketing services.
- Lead discovery conversations with prospective clients to understand business needs, challenges, objectives, budgets, and organizational readiness.
- Translate discovery conversations into thoughtful solutions and clearly defined scopes of work.
- Develop proposals, scopes, pricing recommendations, presentations, and other materials needed to advance opportunities.
- Present and pitch recommended solutions to prospective clients with confidence and credibility.
- Partner with practice leadership and subject matter experts when developing more complex or multidisciplinary engagements.
- Recognize opportunities to expand existing client relationships through additional services when those services support the client's objectives.
- Maintain appropriate visibility into opportunities, pipeline activity, and client expansion opportunities.

Engagement & Delivery Oversight

- Transition new engagements effectively from the sales process into delivery, ensuring the broader team understands client objectives, expectations, scope, and success measures.
- Establish strategic priorities and direction for the project management and delivery teams.
- Maintain oversight of engagement progress, deliverable quality, client satisfaction, and overall account health.
- Work closely with project management resources responsible for detailed timelines, task management, workflow, and coordination.
- Serve as the final layer of strategic and quality review before significant work is presented to clients.
- Address issues, changing priorities, or scope concerns before they negatively impact the client relationship.
- Balance client expectations, strategic opportunities, team capacity, and engagement economics.

The ideal candidate is an experienced marketing leader who combines strategic thinking with commercial instincts and exceptional client management skills. This person should enjoy building something, solving ambiguous problems, and taking ownership rather than operating solely within a predefined set of responsibilities.

They should be equally comfortable developing a growth strategy, presenting to an executive team, shaping a scope of work, and having a conversation with a prospective client about engaging EisnerAmper.

This is not a traditional account management position, nor is it a pure business development role. Success requires the ability to win the work, lead the relationship, and provide strategic direction once the engagement begins.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related discipline preferred.
- Approximately 7+ years of progressive marketing, growth, consulting, agency, or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience at the Marketing Director level or equivalent strongly preferred.
- Experience developing and leading marketing or growth strategies across multiple channels and disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability to manage senior-level client or stakeholder relationships.
- Experience participating in business development, consulting sales, proposal development, or solution scoping.
- Ability to translate business needs into clearly defined scopes of work, deliverables, and strategic recommendations.
- Strong presentation and executive communication skills.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to oversee multiple client relationships and priorities simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, evolving environment where solutions may need to be developed rather than selected from a predefined menu.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, specialists, subject matter experts, and firm leadership.
