Securitas Canada is looking for professional and reliable Security Guards to join our team across a variety of client sites throughout the Toronto area .

This posting is for multiple vacancies across the Toronto Area including Markham, Scarborough, East York and Etobicoke.

Our Security Guards can work in a range of environments, including:

- Energy/Utilities Sector Facilities
- Pharmaceutical
- Property Management/Real Estate Companies
- Federal Government Buildings and Assets
- Other client locations require professional security services

What You Will Do:

Pay rates range from $18.35 to $22.00+ per hour, depending on the assignment, location, experience, licensing requirements, and site responsibilities.

- Monitor and patrol the assigned property
- Control access to the site and verify visitors, employees, contractors, and deliveries
- Monitor CCTV and alarm systems
- Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports
- Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with site procedures
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections
- Enforce client and site-specific security policies
- Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, students, contractors, and members of the public
- Maintain a visible security presence
- Contact emergency services when required
- Perform other security-related duties as assigned

What We Need from You:

- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence and First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
- Strong observation and attention to detail
- Ability to complete written reports accurately
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Previous security experience is an asset, but qualified candidates with a strong customer-service background are encouraged to apply for more experienced roles.
- Priority will be given to candidates with OPEN availability for days, afternoons, nights and weekend shifts and their own vehicle with a G or G2 licence.
