Job Description Summary
The embedded Senior Graphic Designer is a dedicated design resource for a high-producing Agency Leasing and Capital Markets brokerage team, producing marketing materials that showcase properties for lease and for sale. The role reports to local operations leadership and works day to day with brokers and fee-earners.

You will translate property positioning, market data, and complex information into clear, compelling visual stories across print and digital channels. You will lead creative execution from concept through final delivery, with a high degree of independence, strategic thinking, and project ownership.

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, solutions-driven designer with a strong design aesthetic, who understands how creative supports marketing strategy and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, entrepreneurial sales environment.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Across both Agency Leasing and Capital Markets

- Lead the creative development and execution of sophisticated property marketing materials from initial concept through final production, as requested by brokers, fee-earners, marketing partners, and team leadership.
- Translate property positioning, target audiences, key differentiators, and marketing objectives into compelling visual solutions.
- Create impactful, memorable logos, brand systems, and look-and-feel concepts that capture the essence of a property and convey a strong visual identity.
- Translate complex property information, market data, amenities, and location attributes into clear, engaging visual communications.
- Create maps, infographics, iconography, tables, charts, illustrations, and other visual storytelling elements as needed.
- Apply advanced typography, layout, branding, and information hierarchy skills, with strong production expertise.
- Deliver timely, consistent, high-quality work under tight deadlines, in an efficient and well-organized workflow.

Agency Leasing Support

- Design leasing collateral, including property brochures, flyers, availability and tenant-facing presentations, and marketing center materials.
- Produce email campaigns, digital advertising, social media graphics, signage, and event materials that support leasing campaigns.

Capital Markets Support

- Design investment sales collateral, including offering memorandums (OMs), broker opinions of value (BOVs), property brochures, and pitch and client presentations.
- Produce email blasts and other graphics that market properties for sale.

Project Ownership & Collaboration

- Serve as a trusted creative partner to the brokerage team.
- Take part in project kickoffs and creative discussions to understand the property, audience, and business objectives before developing creative solutions.
- Independently manage priorities, expectations, and deadlines across multiple simultaneous Leasing and Capital Markets assignments, escalating conflicts to operations leadership when needed.
- Oversee all creative aspects of production and quality control, including preparation of final files.
- Present design concepts to internal stakeholders and brokerage teams, and explain the rationale behind creative choices.
- Incorporate feedback while maintaining the integrity of the creative concept and the marketing objective.
- Identify project challenges early and recommend creative or production solutions.

Creative Quality & Best Practices

- Maintain and reinforce Cushman & Wakefield brand standards while giving individual property brands a distinctive, compelling identity.
- Use sound creative judgment to decide when an established template fits and when a customized, bespoke solution is needed.
- Review work for accuracy, quality, consistency, and alignment with project objectives and brand standards.
- Contribute to templates, design systems, and creative resources that improve efficiency without lowering quality.
- Share best practices and stay current on design trends, emerging technologies, and digital capabilities.
- Build working relationships with design colleagues in similar roles to share best practices and encourage consistency across offices.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- 5+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in a high-volume agency, corporate marketing, or professional services environment.
- Commercial real estate, property marketing, architecture, or commercial construction marketing experience preferred.
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
- Strong portfolio showing a diverse range of work, including branding, marketing collateral, long-format design, information design, and print and digital production.
- Demonstrated ability to take projects from concept through final production with limited creative direction.
- Experience developing brands and creative concepts, as well as working within established templates and brand standards.
- Strong understanding of infographics, iconography, maps, charts, and other ways to turn complex information into effective visual communications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control and accuracy.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects and competing deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with brokers, operations leadership, and marketing partners.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently in a high-volume environment while keeping creative quality consistently high.
- Proven record of outstanding internal client service.
- Self-motivated and proactive, while working well in a collaborative team environment.
- This role is required to be onsite in our Boston office 5 days a week.
