Physician - General Surgeon

We are looking for a full-time, well-rounded General Surgeon with a strong focus on breast surgery , who is comfortable performing a broad range of general surgical procedures, including colonoscopies and EGDs . The ideal candidate will be proficient in traditional and minimally invasive surgical techniques and not dependent on robotic surgery .

- Competitive Compensation: $480,000 guaranteed annual salary for the first 12 months.

- Productivity-Based Earnings: Following the guarantee period, transition to a tiered wRVU compensation model:

Tier 1: $73 per wRVU for 0–6,411 wRVUs.

- Tier 2: $62 per wRVU for wRVUs exceeding 6,411.

- Additional Compensation: $15 per wRVU for APP supervision and a potential 2.5% incentive bonus.

- Full-Time Position: A combination of outpatient clinic, dedicated operating room time, and endoscopic procedures.

- Call Coverage: Required as part of the general surgery team. $1,150 per 24- hrs of call coverage for excess call (after 10 days of call)

About the Role:

- Full-Time General Surgeon: Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in General Surgery.

- Breast Surgery Focus: Strong interest and experience in breast procedures, with the opportunity to develop and grow breast surgical services.

- Endoscopy Experience: Must be comfortable and proficient in performing colonoscopies and upper endoscopies (EGDs).

- Broad Surgical Skills: Ability to independently perform traditional open and laparoscopic procedures without reliance on robotic surgery.

- Clinic & OR Responsibilities: Combination of outpatient consultations, surgical procedures, endoscopy, and postoperative care.

- Call Coverage: Participation in the general surgery call rotation is required.

- Performance Incentives: Opportunity for additional compensation based on productivity and applicable incentive criteria.
