About this role

Mark Anthony Group is an entrepreneurial drinks company, built from the ground up by thinking differently, innovating and doing the unexpected. Our company is rooted in family values, a bold vision and relentless determination to continuously raise the bar and make a positive difference in consumers' lives. Founded in 1972, weve grown organically from a one-person import wine business into an international drinks company whose hallmarks include a portfolio of luxury wineries and iconic beverage brands, including White Claw Hard Seltzer, Mikes Hard Lemonade, and Cayman Jack.

Role Purpose:

We are seeking a proactive, highly organized, and experienced Facility Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and safety of our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our building, grounds, and equipment are maintained to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage everything from daily janitorial duties and preventative maintenance to complex facility projects and third-party contractors.

Accountabilities & Impact:

Facility Operations & Maintenance

- Manage daily on-site operations and maintenance of the facility, including reactive repairs and preventative maintenance (PM) for the roof, doors, floors, walls, ceilings, and plumbing systems.

- Manage interior and exterior lighting systems to ensure a well-lit and safe environment.

- Ensure proper and compliant signage is displayed inside and outside of the facility.

- Manage company fleet vehicles, ensuring they are properly maintained, serviced, and safe to operate.

- Order, track, and manage inventories for all necessary building supplies.

Health, Safety & Security

- Ensure PMs are completed for all critical life safety equipment, including generators, fire suppression, and alarm systems.

- Ensure the building and all facility operations are fully OSHA compliant.

- Work closely with the security team to ensure all cameras are properly functioning, proactively identify safety-related issues, and ensure they are swiftly resolved.

- Act as a first responder to building emergencies, coordinating necessary repairs or evacuations as required.

Contractor & Project Management

- Manage specialized contractors, including HVAC, electrical, roofing, painting, and welding professionals.

- Oversee comprehensive contractor management: ensure all vendors follow site safety rules, schedule repairs, monitor work performance, and review proposals/costs.

- Assist and coordinate facility improvement projects such as building upgrades, concrete repairs, exterior building cleaning, painting and other facility projects as requested.

Janitorial & Groundskeeping

- Manage janitorial services and overall cleanliness of the facility, ensuring restrooms, breakrooms, flooring, parking lots, and sidewalks meet high sanitation standards.

- Oversee facility landscaping, ensuring lawns, trees, and flowers are manicured and well-maintained.

Financial & Administrative Duties

- Manage the facility budget by overseeing Purchase Orders (POs) and invoices and obtaining/reviewing vendor quotes.

- Monitor facility spending and proactively identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date work orders, contractor documentation, and safety inspection records.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Manage and lead an internal team of facility technicians, assigning daily tasks, monitoring progress, and providing training and support.

- Work closely and collaboratively with internal departments (Production, EHS, Warehouse) to ensure facility activities do not disrupt manufacturing operations.

Skills & Experiences Needed:

- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, property management, or a related field, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

- Leadership: Proven experience managing a team of maintenance technicians and overseeing third-party vendors.

- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and preventative maintenance programs.

- Safety First: Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations and life safety equipment compliance.

- Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Strong financial acumen for managing POs, quotes, and budgets.

- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work orders.

Working conditions:

- Ability to stand, walk, and navigate a large manufacturing floor for extended periods.

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally perform physical labor as needed to support the team.

- Must be able to respond to after-hours building emergencies if they arise.
