About this role
We are seeking to hire a Day Porter for a school (with a changing Schedule - see below) . You will be responsible for vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors, using a floor machine, trash removal rest room and break room cleaning and other miscellaneous duties to ensure that building and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. Ideal candidate will have professional attitude & appearance and is initiative-taking, hardworking, dependable, and responsible.
Job Requirements
- Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.
- Must be able to work adjusted schedule (Below)
- Able to use walk behind floor machine
- Prior cleaning experience is a plus.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Janitor experience a plus but will train.
- Reliable Transportation.
Benefits:
- Full-Time
- Pay rate: $18.74/hr
- Hours: 32hrs/week, Summer Hours (7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Thursday), Fall to Spring hours ( 8:00am - 12:00pm & 4:00pm - 8:00pm Monday - Thursday)
