About this role
Role Purpose
Handle direct work executed on site by main contractor supervise work executed by sub-contractors and assist the project engineer in specific duties.
Key Accountabilities
Follow safety regulations and assist in implementing such regulations on site.
• Oversee building work.
• Survey sites.
• Solve problems and provide technical advice.
• Check and prepare site reports.
• Liaise with other engineers, surveyors, clients and sub-contractors.
• Aware with all project drawings and specifications.
• Read, interpret and follow method statements and procedures, specifications, drawings, and all other discipline related project and engineering documentation.
• Ensure that all established HSE & Quality policies are administered and enforced in all areas.
• Report all violations and resolved on time
• Effective implementation of HSE Management system as per HSE procedures
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
Bachelors of Engineering or other related engineering field.
• Minimum 5+ years significant Industrial, commercial, residential construction experience,
• With knowledge of civil and structural codes
• Other associated codes used in the project, excellent technical background and skills in industrial environment.
• Able to control a multi‐national workforce in a dynamic situation.
• Has excellent oral & written communication in English and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in all outside weather and site conditions.
