Reporting to: Building & Facilities Manager

MAINTENANCE LEAD

What You'll Do:

- Review and prioritize SAP work orders and notifications within 24 hours, ensuring timely updates, proper tracking, and alignment with business needs.

- Lead daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance planning meetings to review completed tasks, prioritize upcoming work, and align schedules with the annual maintenance plan.

- Develop and maintain the annual maintenance plan and calendar, lead breakdown investigations, and oversee preventive maintenance activities in coordination with internal teams and OEMs/vendors.

- Manage consumables inventory and collaborate with the Cell Lead and Process Lead to optimize equipment startup, shutdown, and major maintenance activities.

- Lead and implement the maintenance program for equipment within the assigned Cell.

- Conduct equipment inspections, identify and report conditions affecting operations, and ensure proper implementation of 5S3R and closure of ERFs.

- Prepare the Cell's OPEX forecast and identify potential CAPEX projects, including support for BAP preparation.

- Support the technical and financial evaluation of tenders and bids for CAPEX projects and maintenance contracts.

- Monitor preventive maintenance contracts and support the development of operating guidelines in accordance with applicable engineering standards.

- Ensure compliance with EHS requirements, FM Global standards, and applicable government regulations, including PEZA, DOLE, and DENR, including required equipment testing.

- Perform required FM Global loss prevention activities.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address equipment breakdowns, operational issues, and other concerns related to the Cell.

- Provide support for after-hours maintenance and operational activities as required, and attend relevant training sessions and seminars.

- Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor and comply with EHS procedures, labor laws, corporate guidelines, internal regulations, and work instructions.

- Maintain a safe working environment by understanding workplace hazards, implementing appropriate control measures, participating in required safety training, and complying with all applicable legal and JTI health and safety requirements.

- Demonstrate safe behavior and promptly report incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions, and unsafe behaviors to the supervisor. Address identified hazards within the scope of authority and ability .

What We're Looking For:

- Engineering degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; other engineering disciplines may be considered.

- At least 3–5 years of experience in a technical or maintenance role, preferably in a similar position.

- Experience managing and working with technicians and service providers, with the ability to develop solutions that improve equipment reliability and performance.

- Strong administrative, team management, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and project management skills.

- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications and basic knowledge of SAP, EAM, or equivalent systems.

- Familiarity with IWS principles and practices; knowledge of ISO standards is an advantage.

- Experience in the tobacco industry is an added advantage.
