Wayne County's Department of Mental and Behavioral Health runs an outpatient clinic in Lyons where the nursing work is the kind psych nurses want: medication management, long-acting injectables, metabolic monitoring, patient education, and real collaboration with the prescribers and therapists down the hall. Patients you see again. Outcomes you get to watch.

If you are a New York RN with behavioral health experience who wants premium pay without giving up your evenings, this is built for you. Take one clinic day a week around another job, or take the days that fit and make it your week.

Compensation and Engagement Details

- $52.00 to $58.00 an hour. Experience sets your rate within the range; inpatient or outpatient psychiatric experience and long-acting injectable skills place you at the top. Tell us what you bring.
- Daytime, weekday hours only. Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Your evenings and weekends are yours.
- Your time is protected. A confirmed day the clinic cancels two hours or less before it starts is paid for four hours. Pre-authorized overtime at time and a half.
- We pay you to stay and grow. Your New York license renewal and CPR renewal are reimbursed. Continuing education and certifications are supported. Tuition assistance of up to $1,500 a year toward your BSN. Bring a nurse or aide onto the roster and there is a $500 referral bonus for you. All of it runs through CLFC University, our own training and development program, and the program terms come to you in writing before you accept.
- Scheduling that respects your life. Open shifts at the facility appear in the BRIDGE App on your phone. You tap the ones you want, you get a confirmation back, and that shift is yours. Nobody calls you at 5 AM to fill a hole, and nobody expects you to take a shift you did not choose. It also keeps your license and certifications on file and reminds you before anything expires.
- Paid weekly, and your orientation is paid too. Pay lands every week on County-approved time, with no payment holds. Orientation hours are paid at your rate. Fingerprinting, immunizations, screening and license verification are arranged and paid by CLFC, and paid sick leave accrues under New York law, and you are covered by CLFC's professional liability insurance on every shift. This is a W-2 per diem role: what New York law provides and what is listed here is the package, stated plainly.
- A real person on the other end. Your Program Manager knows your name, answers the phone, and sorts out scheduling and pay questions without a ticket system.
- A roster, not a one-off. CLFC staffs nursing and clinical roles for government healthcare clients across the country, and when a new assignment comes up we go to the nurses already on our roster first. Your file here is your foot in the door to all of it.
