🚀 About the Assignment

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Supply Manager for an exciting consulting assignment with an international industrial company in Lund, Sweden.

In this role, you will play a key part in supplier management and strategic sourcing, supporting development projects within industrial solutions and key components.

You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure strong supplier relationships, efficient procurement processes, and high-quality deliveries.

💼 Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers.
- Define, implement, and manage supplier strategies and action plans.
- Manage sourcing activities, supplier negotiations, and contracts.
- Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvements.
- Support development projects through early supplier involvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business, engineering, and technology functions.
- Manage suppliers within machining and stainless steel castings.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination between internal teams and external suppliers.

🎯 Requirements

We are looking for a structured and independent professional with experience in supplier management, sourcing, and stakeholder collaboration.

Must-Have Requirements

- Experience as a Supply Manager, Supplier Manager, or in a similar supplier management role.
- Experience in sourcing, contract management, and supplier performance management.
- Strong understanding of Supply Chain Management.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain professional supplier relationships.
- Strong communication, networking, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with suppliers specializing in machining and stainless steel castings.
- Experience within manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Experience supporting product development or engineering projects.
- Experience working in an international organization.

📋 Assignment Details

📍 Location: Lund, Sweden

📅 Assignment Period: November 2, 2026 – April 30, 2027

⏰ Workload: Full-time, 40 hours per week

🏢 Work Model: Hybrid, approximately 75% on-site and 25% remote
