Job Title: Registered Veterinary Nurse (Part-Time)
Location: Norwood Veterinary Practice, Beverley and Kingswood ( Part of Linnaeus)
Hours: 30 hours per week across our Beverley and Kingswood sites, with a 1-in-6 weekend rota and no out-of-hours work
Salary: From £27,810 FTE

At Norwood Veterinary Practice, we have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team, working across our Beverley and Kingswood sites.
We are proud to provide excellent primary care to our patients and clients, and we are looking for an RVN who shares our commitment to high standards of nursing care, teamwork and animal welfare.
Our team consists of 10 RVNs, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, 3 Patient Care Assistants, 7 Veterinary Surgeons and 8 Client Care team members. We work collaboratively to provide outstanding patient care and a welcoming experience for our clients.

Your role and responsibilities
As an RVN at Norwood, you will have the opportunity to undertake a wide range of general nursing duties, making full use of your nursing skills to maximise the provision of patient care within the scope of your qualifications and in accordance with the RCVS Code of Professional Conduct.
Your working rota will cover a variety of areas, including inpatient care, theatre and nurse consultations, allowing you to use your clinical knowledge and skills across different aspects of the practice.
You will be responsible for delivering high standards of nursing care, supporting patients throughout their clinical journey and working closely with the veterinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes. Accurate clinical record keeping will also be an important part of your role, including maintaining anaesthetic sheets, hospitalisation forms and clinical notes.
