Electrician

AJS Asset Care are looking for an Electrician to join our Asset Care Division.

We carry out a wide range of electrical compliance-based works for a variety of clients within the FMCG industry.

These include, but are not limited to: -

Key Duties and responsibilities required for this role are:

• Carrying out works on Fire alarms and Emergency Lights

• Competently and safely locking off Circuits and Machinery

• Thermal imaging of LV distribution boards - Fire alarm system maintenance

• Like for like replacement of field devices

• Record Testing results and commissioning details

• Comply with Industry and AJS Electrical Standards

Essential Experience

• NVQ 2330 Level 3 Electrical or equivalent

• 18th Edition BS7671

• Experience working on Fire Alarms

• Experience working on lighting circuit

• Ability to communicate at all levels within the business

• Ability to hand over tasks efficiently

• Have a positive attitude

• Have great organisational skills

• Ability to prioritise workloads

• Work in a professional manner

Desirable

• CAT 1 Thermography

• Experience carrying out fixed electrical testing

• Experience working in an FMCG environment

• Understanding of 3 phase motor

• Be proactive

• Ability to problem solve

• Can stay calm under pressure

Advantage

• Electrical testing 2391 or 2394/5

• IOSH working safely
