About this role
Responsible for preparing and serving beverages at banquet events while providing excellent guest service. Maintains a clean and organized bar area, follows all alcohol service laws and safety standards, monitors beverage inventory, and ensures a positive guest experience throughout each event.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and break down bar stations before and after events.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards.
- Provide friendly, professional, and efficient guest service.
- Verify guest identification and comply with all alcohol service laws.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
- Monitor beverage inventory and notify management of low stock.
- Process payments accurately, when applicable.
- Follow hotel policies, safety procedures, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Communicate with banquet staff and management to ensure smooth event operations.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a similar role preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
